Part of PAV's commitment involves advocating for the following:
Conducting a mapping exercise to identify available funding for Aboriginal employment and training services in the Pilbara against actual employment rates to identify gaps; make organisations accountable for any disparities.
Reviewing pathways to employment for high school students, e.g. review all high school students and their ability to participate in the workforce, the resources available to the students and school, and what employment and training programs they can access.
Lobbying for equal and sustainable employment.
Restoring Community Development Employment Projects (CDEP) in communities.
Restoring Pundulmurra Pilbara Aboriginal Training Centre (the local Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for Aboriginal Corporations).
