At the forums, the Department of the Premier and Cabinet and the Department of Communities would like to discuss your views on State Government priorities impacting Aboriginal people and communities, including a strategy for Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations to 2022.

The Coalition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peak Organisations (Coalition of Peaks) formed in 2018 to be formal partners with Australian governments to work on the future of Closing the Gap. The Coalition of Peaks is made up of about 40 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) Community Controlled Organisations from every state and territory, and national organisations.
The Coalition of Peaks, with Australian governments – federal, state/territory and local – want to talk to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) representatives of communities and organisations about a new National Agreement on Closing the Gap being developed. The National Agreement will…
